Generally, I may say that without the assistance of Mr. Clementi, the Legal Advisers of the Crown would have been quite
unable to cope with the case.

I entirely agree with the above, as to the excel-
lence of Mr. Clementi's work. His assistance was practically indis-
pensable to the Government.
In the vent of an acosal to the Privy Council I think, considering the technical nature of the case, it would be much to the advantage of the Government if Wr. Clementi could do to England, so that, the Government's legal representatives there night also have the help of his knowledge and advice,
