I have the more pleasure in reference to your letter of the 29th ultimo, that I saw Dr. Kerr who informed me that we think he was suffering from Bright's Disease duly put down. Dr. Kerr said we were indisposed that day. After examining him in the afternoon of the same day, he would send in his report on certificate of death.
I have not received my last application for leave to go to the Head Office, Customs Office, Church Street, London, S.W.
