If you are prepared to accept the appointment on these conditions, you should present yourself to one of the Medical Advisers of this Department, whose names are given on the enclosed letter, for the purpose of being medically examined. The
letter is to be left with him; and you will be required to pay him a fee.
If it is necessary for you to travel by rail for the purpose of this examination, your 3rd class return fare will be refunded to you on informing this Department of the amount.
The Medical Adviser will send his report direct to this Department.

You will be provided with a free first-class passage to the Colony on your signing the usual agreement with the Crown Agents for the Colonies, Whitehall Gardens, S.W., by which you will be bound to repay
