I am directed by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton to inform you that subject to your being passed by the Medical Adviser of this Department as physically fit for service he proposes to offer you the appointment of Hospital nurse or Matron/Sister in the Government Civil Medical Department, Hong Kong, with salary at the rate of £110, rising after 3 years' service, dating from your arrival in the Colony to £130 a year. Uniform, lodging, and attendance are provided.
