The B.& C. Corporation have a provisional agreement with the Chinese forts, whereby the former are to be guaranteed ...(amount not stated) to be exchanged favourably to the Corporation, as stated in the letter:-

The Corporation offer to give up this agreement and to promote a strong group that includes Dr C. H. ... Kong Guarantee Capital.

We have counter-proposed that the Corporation construct the portion of the line in "Br. Territory" at the cost of the H.K. Int, and lease it to the Br. C.

The Corporation apparently accept this in principle; contemplate going ahead with Chang loon agreements bound with the Chinese forts; having a forum where the H.K. firm would be represented;
