The Director of Military Operations presents
his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the
Colonies and begs to forward a first proof of a provisional
issue of a Military Report and General Information concern-
ing the Colony of Hong-Kong for favour of perusal and
criticism.
Attention is specially invited to that portion
of the report dealing with Civil Administration. Major
General Grierson would be glad to know how many copies of
the Report will be required by the Colonial Office.
