(4) Kowloon East Battery.

(d) the 284 adjacent to the Dock Battery The transfer of Military Reserve land had be subject to existing Military rights of way, and to the military user of the pier which was constructed by the War Department, or of an equivalent pier to be constructed for and without expense to the War Department. Any matter diversion of roads will be for arrangement between the Governor and the General Officer Commanding, without cost to the War Department, and the height of any lofty building proposed for erection on the land so transferred will be referred to the General Officer Commanding for his concurrence, in order that interference with gun fire from Kowloon Battery may be avoided.

(e) The balance to the credit of the War Department in the Colonial Military Lands Account is to be devoted so far as it will extend towards,

(i) Providing compensation for land in private ownership at Devil's Peak and Ngong Tau (now known as Lei Yue Mun) to be acquired by the War Department;

(ii) Acquiring any land that may hereafter be required by the War Department.

That All the transfers agreed upon be carried out without further delay.
