For Sir,

In the circumstances represented by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton, in Mr. Lucas' letter of the 10th instant (41133/1904) the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury have no objection to the grant to Major J.J.O'B Sexton of an allowance of 15/- a day (to be eventually recovered from the Russian Government) for acting as First Class Interpreter in connection with the internment of the crew of the "Burni", provided that the Foreign Office and War Office agree and that the Russian Consul General notifies his concurrence.

I am, Sir, Your obedient Servant,
