Medical Report on the case of ADR Medie of the Public Works department. Hongkong.

Mr J. R. Mudie presented himself today for examination in reference to his fitness for further service.

Since I last reported on his case, a most marked improvement has taken place in his eye-sight: He is now able to read the smallest type without spectacles.

The state of his limbs, however, remains very much as before. He is able to get along fairly well for short walking distances by the aid of a stick (not otherwise), but throws out his legs when walking, bringing down the feet to the ground in the stamping manner characteristic of Ataxics.
