Gentlemen,
(1) I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 30th April 1904, with enclosures, referring to a proposed extension of the Kowloon Waterworks, Hong Kong.
(2) The questions, now under consideration, are two in number.
(a) The extension of the catch-water channels, with a view of collecting rain-water from an enlarged gathering-ground.
(b)
(3) The enlargement of the capacity of the storage reservoir, in order to provide room for storing the additional water, which will be collected by means of the said catch-water channels.
