I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to transmit herewith, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, a copy of correspondence, as noted in the margin relative to the internment (0.854) of the Russian Torpedo Boat Destroyer "Burni", and its enclosures.

In particular to the question of the disposal of the arms surrendered by the crew to the Commander-in-Chief on the China Station.
2.- My Lords would be glad to be informed at your earliest convenience whether Mr Lyttelton concurs in the suggestion, approved by Lord Lansdowne in his letter of the 20th instant, enclosed, that these arms should be sent to Hong Kong for custody by the Colonial Authorities until the conclusion of the war.
I am,
The Under Secretary of State
Colonial Office

Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
