Sir,
With reference to my letter of 30th June 1903, No. 1051, on the subject of the temporary checking of the Albany Nullah during the heavy rain on 27th and 28th idem, I have the honour to forward herewith an account, amounting to $1636.10, of the cost of clearing the Nullah, which I request may be paid over to the Cashier, His Majesty's Naval Yard, on the grounds stated in my letter quoted above.
In addition to this the estimated cost of dredging the deposit on the sea bed at the outlet of the Nullah is £500 and I should be glad if the Colonial Government would admit their liability on this point also.
