Thus these men due to the parsimonious and unscrupulous action of the vessel's owners will be thrown on this Colony. I cannot help thinking and with all due respect, I venture my opinion that the difficulties that beset this Colony in respect to discharge of seamen cannot be sufficiently appreciated at home, otherwise owners could hardly receive encouragement to force our local arrangements.
