Government Civil Hospital,
Hongkong, 8th October, 1904.
In accordance with your instructions I have
this day examined Lieutenant Nicholas Tyrkoff of the Russian Navy.
He is suffering from insomnia, with great nervous excitement, alter-
nating with fits of depression.
It appears that he has already been invalided
for a similar condition of affairs during his past service and his
family history as vouched for by the best is bad.
I am of opinion that this Officer should be
invalided home as soon as possible as his condition is likely to
get worse and might lead to a more serious state.
I have etc.,
J. Bell,
Superintendent.
The Principal Civil Medical Officer.
