TELE RAM
From the Secretary of State, London, to the Governor, Hongkong,
dated 2nd September, 1904.
Referring to my telegram of yesterday I suggest
that crew of "Inkur" should be returned to this country as soon as
possible either serving on board of other ships or as distressed seamen,
owners of "Inkum" being prepared to make good whatever expenditure
they may be hereafter held to have legally incurred. "Inkur" should
not be detained but allowed to proceed to South Africa.
