(1) The Company to maintain the existing Praya Wall in a good and sufficient state of repair, to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works from the date of their taking over the areas coloured green.
(2) The Company to surrender to Government such portions of Marine Lot 74 and Inland Lots 1140 and 1141, (cross-hatched green on plan), as may be required for widening Salisbury Road to 100 feet in width.
(3) The Company to defray the cost of the resumption by the Government of such portions of Inland Lots 442, 443, and 618 (cross-hatched brown on plan), as may be required for widening Salisbury Road to 100 feet in width.
(4) The Company to pay to the Government premium at the rate of 85 cents per Square foot and Crown Rent at the rate of $650 per acre for the excess area acquired by them after deducting the areas stated in the conditions of sale and those to be resumed at their expense as set forth in (3). The premium to be paid within 7 days of the date of a notice stating the amount due, signed by the Director of Public Works, and Crown Rent to commence from the date on which the approval of the Secretary of State is notified.
(5) The Conditions of Sale to be modified by excluding the sea-wall and such portions of roads as are acquired by the Company from Special Condition No.1
The following statement shows the financial result of the above exchanges:-
