that it will be found possible to dispense with the services
of some of the new clerks employed but I am convinced that to
make a proper start, the Staff proposed will not be found too
great for the work, if it is to be done promptly and efficiently.

In the meantime therefore the Officers
engaged will be on the Temporary Establishment of the Colony.
