relinquishing the appointment within three
years of the date of your arrival in the
Colony for any other reason than mental or
physical infirmity.
7. You will be entitled to half salary
from the date of your embarkation from this
country, and to full salary from the date of
your arrival in the Colony.
8. I have to request that you will
inform me of the earliest date at which you will
be prepared to leave for the Colony, in order
that the necessary communications may be made
to the Governor and to the Crown Agents.
It is desired that this vacancy should be filled early
in September.
If you accept the appointment, you
will be required to leave England at an early
date.
