Gentlemen,

I am directed to inform you that the Executive Council has not felt able to grant you a pension in respect of your service.

Your length of service would ordinarily entitle you to a pension, but the D.P.W. has declined to certify that you have discharged your duties with diligence & fidelity.

The pension has accordingly been reduced.

Mr. W. King, wg. J. W. Collins has been granted a pension in respect of his service in Hayking at the rate of $457 a year.

2. In your case, I am to request you to issue pay at the rate of ... a year.
