It is hoped that the new firing ranges at Kowloon City will be ready by the end of the year. The surrounding barrack buildings, and must be reproduced in some form at the Kowloon City Ranges.
5. His Excellency the General Officer Commanding now proposes to prepare the New Ranges partly by Military labour, thus effecting a small saving on the sum the Colonial Government is prepared to allow, which will enable him to provide some matched accessories. His Excellency will, therefore, be glad to know when the above grant can be handed over to the Chief Paymaster, also when work on the site can be commenced.
