I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 11th instant received yesterday afternoon.
I have by the English Mail leaving today forwarded to Mr. Howard copies of your letter, of the Financial Minute and of the despatch from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, at the same time I have asked Mr. Howard to let me hear from him with instructions in the matter.
