The comparatively poor rate among the Chinese is due to the fact that a great number of sick return to die in their own Country and are therefore not included in the returns for this Colony.
In reference to paragraph 6 I may point out that the Directors are in favour of the retention of Section 23 of the Ordinance as stated in the last paragraph of their Report.
