Rescinding Resolutions.
7. Any Resolution of the Governing Body may be rescinded or varied at a subsequent meeting. All such Resolutions and any such rescission or variation thereof shall be communicated in writing to the Headmaster.
Masters not to be members.
9. No Headmaster or other Master of the College and no Assistant Master of any other School in the Colony shall be a member of the Governing Body.
Masters not to be allowed private pupils.
10. No Headmaster or other Master shall take private pupils unless with the written permission of the Governing Body, such permission to be revocable at any time.
Jurisdiction of Headmaster.
12. Subject to any order made by the Government or by or under the authority of these Regulations, the Headmaster shall have under his control the choice of books, the method of teaching, the arrangement of classes and school hours, and, generally, the whole internal organisation, management, and discipline of the school; provided that no book in which the Headmaster or any other Master has any pecuniary interest, shall be used without the express permission of the Governing Body.
Yearly examination.
14. The Governing Body shall appoint an Examiner or Examiners to conduct an examination of the scholars; but no Headmaster nor Assistant Master of any School in the Colony shall be appointed to be an Examiner. The date of examination shall be fixed by the Governing Body, after consulting the Headmaster. The Examiner or Examiners shall report in writing to the Governing Body on the proficiency of the scholars and the condition of the College as regards instruction and discipline as shown by the examination.
The cost of the examination shall be paid by the Government.
The Governing Body shall send a copy of the report marked "Confidential" and not necessarily for publication in extenso to the Colonial Secretary for the information of the Governor, and at the same time shall send a copy to the Headmaster.
