With reference now to your letter of the 4th instant, the section submitted by you is still under consideration, but as I understand the matter is pressing I now write to let you know I consider it highly advisable that the groove in the rails should not be more than 1 in width. The reason for this is that, owing to the shallowness of the tyres of ricksha wheels, the groove submitted by you is very liable to cause serious accidents!
