C. O. 1905

552

THE PATENT OFFICE,

25, SOUTHAMPTON BUILDINGS,

LONDON, W.C.

13th May, 1903.

Sir,

I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 12th instant (1528/1903) forwarding a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong and enquiring whether, in my opinion, it is necessary to insist upon the transmission to this Office of complete sets of specifications of Patents and lists of Trade Marks passed in the Colony for the last 23 years and in future.

In reply I have to state that it will, in my opinion, be quite sufficient for the purposes of this Office, if a set of the Hong Kong Gazettes could be supplied to us.

We should be glad if possible to have a complete set of back numbers, and future numbers at the time of publication.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your obedient Servant,

Ahvalton

Comptroller-General.

Under Secretary of State,

Colonial Office,

S.W.
