With reference to your letter of the 31st ultimo (No. 3001/1902), I am directed by the Postmaster General to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that he concurs in the recommendation of the Admiralty that any Licenses for Wireless Telegraphy at Hong Kong should provide for suspension, after due notice, of commercial signalling for a limited part of the day in the interests of Naval communication.
A clause to that effect appears in the draft of the Postmaster General's proposed License in this Country to Lloyd's.
