I have the honour to enclose herewith copy of a further despatch No.35 with enclosure, which I have this day addressed to His Majesty's Minister in Peking on the subject of the export of cattle from Kuangsi, from which it will be seen that the Commissioner of Customs has refrained from withdrawing the prohibition, pending instructions from the Inspector General in Peking.
