I am directed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to transmit to you, to be laid before the Secretary of State for the Colonies, the accompanying copy of a despatch from the Acting Chief Justice of His Majesty's Supreme Court at Shanghai reporting that he has confirmed an order of deportation from Amoy made by His Majesty's Consul at Amoy against Florence Garrett.
