FOREIGN OFFICE-(OR JAN 05)

22nd January,

1903.

12

I am directed by the Marquess of Lansdowne to

inform you that it is proposed that your Department

should be furnished in future with copies of all

papers printed in this Department in the series en-

titled respectively South-West China, China Trade

and Siam.

I am to suggest that the Governor of Hong Kong

may be supplied with such of the papers printed in

the first two series as Mr. Secretary Chamberlain

may think fit and that the Governor of the Straits

Settlements may be treated in a similar manner as

regards the papers in "Siam".

I am,

Your most obedient

humble Servant,

I. Campbell

Under Secretary of State,

Colonial Office.
