I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of the

Admiralty to forward for the information of the Secretary

of State for the Colonies, the attached Plan of certain works in connection with the New Coaling Depôt at Kowloon,

Hong Kong, which have been approved by the Admiralty, and

I am to request that Their Lordships may be favoured with

any remarks that the Secretary of State may wish to make.

As the works will be put in hand very shortly, Their Lordships would be glad of an early reply.
