There are several mistakes in drafting this amending order.
Set the present form of Sub-Section 3 of Section 203 aside. It would have been better to have enacted in Sub-section (3) an entirely new paragraph (aa) corresponding to the new paragraph numbered (aa) which he has introduced in Sub-section (2) of that section.
Instead of having altered the words "second" and "third" in paragraph (b) to refer to paragraph (aa) and Sub-section (2), it would be more appropriate.
As it is, we have to read "in the first case" in paragraph (a) to refer to paragraph (aa) & Sub-section (2).
3. Further, I would point out that the words "as now amended" should be read on the premises that had not been occupied, a bottle or gaming-house had not been illegally crowded or used for any illegal purpose.
