The usual custom within my experience

has been for the Manuscript copy of the Report of the Indepen-

dent Examiners to be forwarded to the Head Master, in order that any remarks he may have to make thereon, may be remitted

to England therewith.

As this course has not been pursued this

year, I have now the honour to submit my remarks on the recent Report, and to beg that His Excellency the Governor will be pleased to cause a copy to be sent to the Secretary of State.
