I have little doubt that the new system
will be found to work well in practice and will be productive
of good results; though the object aimed at would probably be
more rapidly attained if the Headmaster, to whom the working
of the system must he entrusted, were in sympathy with the
principles which guided the Examiners and the Governing Body
in their consideration of the matter.
