shall revert to Government free of cost. Special condition No. 4 in the Conditions of Sale will remain in force for all lots of 110 feet in width and for that portion of the lot marked 'X' which is shown to be 110 feet in width.
The Conditions of Sale, under which the original lots were sold, to apply to the re-adjusted lots, except in so far as they are modified by the above conditions.
"In order to show clearly the changes proposed,
I enclose a tracing, marked 'B', showing the lots as sold, from
which it will be seen that I propose to extend the reclamation
further seaward giving an improved line of frontage for the
reclamation in this neighbourhood.
"The other alterations may be stated by enure-
rating the advantages to the Government and to the owners of
the lots of the new proposal.
"The advantages from the Government point of
view will be:-
(a). Increased width of several of the main and cross roads rendering the district more sanitary.
(b). Improved line of frontage.
(a). A useful Marine Lot, containing about 180,567
Square Feet or 81,720 Square Feet more than would be rendered available under the old laying
out.
(d). Improved facilities on account of the widening
of the road for laying the main sewer required.
"The advantages from the owner's point of
view will be:-
(a). Improved arrangement of lots, especially with
regard to the new Building Ordinance.
(b). Benefits to be derived from the increased width
of roads.
(c). A Marine Lot of more useful dimensions than the
two provided under the old laying out.
