Hon. Colonial Secretary,

Has the Acting Captain Superintendent of

Folice considered the evidence in the case of Lance-Sergeant

Brimble ? Has he any observations to make.upon.it ?

(Sd7) H. A. B. 20.8.03.

Hon. Colonial Secretary,

Yes.l have. I conducted the prosecution

10 the Lower Court.

I am of opinion that as this ran has been

tried and acquitted, and his character is good; and as his

defence cost him $500 no further action should be taken.

(Sd.) . Lyons. 21.8.03.

Your Excellency,

Minute on 6272/1908. The $500 has nothing

to do with the case from the point of view of discipline.

A Folice Sergeant who will go fooling

with a girl in uniform and when on duty is in my opinion.not fit

to be a folice Sergeant being entirely untrustworthy.

(Sd.) B. H. May. 21.6.03.

Hon. Colonial Secretary,

Call upon the Acting Captain Superinten-

dent of Folice to have Lance-Sergeant Erimble charged before him with breach of Police Regulations : (1) in entering a brothel in uniform while on duty, (2) and gossiping and idling while on

. duty. The Acting Captain Superintendent of Folice will forward

the evidence for .consideration, with his recommendation thereon.

(Sd.) H. A. Blake. 25.8.03.

Acting Capt. Supt. of Folice,
