3. Any vessel that has not been enlisted as a shell

dredging boat of Our Company shall apply from Our Company for a certificate permitting to dredge for (shells), make

a contract voluntarily agreeing to pay the price for the

quantity of shells she will have dredged at 3 candareens &

"tau" (peck) and find some well-to-de lime-kiln owner to

jointly sign the contract besides a deposit of $200 as

security, before she shall be allowed to dredge for shells

within the limited area leased by Our Company. Should the

price of shells have fallen in arrears the deposit shall

be deducted; and should it be not sufficient the surety

shall still be held to make it good.

4. No shell-dredging boats other than those of our

Company, which have no lime-kiln owners to be their surety

and which have no deposits paid over shall be allowed to

sail into the limited area and dredge for shells therein.

5. In order to stop the source of fraud every boat shall

renew her certificate once a month.
