Sterling Salaries Scheme.
The acompanying schime approved by the Secretary of State for the Colonies is promulgated for the information of Heads
1 for communication by them to such officers of their Departments as are concerned. Attention is particularly called

Officers are given
a limit of 6 months within which to decide whether they will come under the sterling scheme or not, but any offices may accept it at once and those whose acceptances are received in time for the preparation of the pay sheets in any one month will begin to draw sterling salaries from the 1st of the cussent month.
