I have the honour to acknowledge the re-
ceipt of your Despatch No. 255 of the 16th. July approving of
my proposals for reorganising the Registration and Parcels
Branch of the Post Office.

The Officers referred to in the 2nd, and
3rd. paragraphs of your Despatch show no dissatisfaction with
the new arrangements, and I see no reason why applications for
increase of salary which they may make in the future should
be entertained.
