Sir Henry Blake's long and distinguished
services as Colonial Governor are too well known
to Tour Majesty to make it necessary for thank
to specify the grounds on which he is now
recommended for the important post of Governor
of Ceylon. In view of Sir Henry Blaze's age, over
30 years, it is proposed that the term of Office
in Ceylon should be limited to three years, and he
is aware that his term will be so limited
