In continuation of my Despatch No. 269 of
the 2nd. instant, I have the honour to inform you that Mr.
Ireland has accepted the compromise therein referred to, and
that a Draft for the sum of £50 Sterling has been forwarded
to him in full settlement of all his claims against this Govern-
ment.
