in certain respects therein specified.

I have every confidence that this new
hospital will provide for a long-felt want in this Colony. It will relieve the congested state of the existingplague hospitals
and it will be conducted on precisely similar lines to the
Tung Wa Hospital. All patients, therefore, will be given the
option of native or Western treatment. The Hospital contains
60 beds and cost $44,000.
