Sir,
With reference to my letter of the 27th. ultimo, I am directed to inform you that your case was fully considered by the Governor in Council on the 6th. instant, and that the advice of the Council was that you should be forthwith suspended from the exercise of your official duties, and that the Secretary of State for the Colonies should be advised to
approve of your dismissal from the Service.
2.
I am to inform you that you will cease to draw any emoluments or allowances from the Government on and from the 8th. instant, and that His Excellency the Governor is about to address the Secretary of State in accordance with the advice of the Council.
