I am directed by His Excellency the
Officer Administering the Government to request you to be
good enough to say when a reply may be expected to my letter
No. 586 of the 14th. ultimo, and to the letter to which it
refers, respecting the rate of exchange for the payment of
pensions out of the Widows and Orphans' Pension Fund to persons
residing in a Gold-using Country.
