(1) Mr G.A.Wathen St Pauls School and Peterhouse. His age is 23. He took a second class in the Classical Tripos, and has a first rate. knowledge of French and German, and also knows some modern Greek. He has had six months as schoolmaster,and is now private Tutor to Sir H Mesey Thompson's-son. His present address is Kirby Hall, York. Mr Wathen is a man of most attractive appearance and manner 鹰 He has not quite definitely made up his mind to accept if the post is‹ offered-him;but if he accepts he would I think be an almost

(2) Mr-7.M.Howlett, Berkhamsted School and Christs College. His age
