tingency the surveyor should be directed in making his valuation to set a price upon each piece of land separately. Also as regards the
land to be acquired by the War
Department at Devil's Peak and Victoria Peak, the valuation of the areas required respectively for (a) Barracks, (b) fortifications, (c)
rifle ranges, and (d) training ground, should be separately stated.
A further communication will short be made on these points. In fur- nishing your report you should
arrange the plots in the order of importance which you attach to thef acquisition, and forward the detai
of the valuation.
