interest in this land has been mutually determined. (b) That the value of the land to be transferred
to the War Department, according to the terms of
the exchange, shall be assessed by an independent
valuator and recorded in the Colonial Military
Lands Account.
2. Mr Brodrick desires to observe that in agree-
ing to a settlement of No. 2 exchange apart from the
others, he does so on the understanding that Mr Secretary
Chamberlain will endeavour to effect a settlement of the
other exchanges within a reasonable time on the basis
of a balancing of credits and debits as determined by
independent valuation.
3.
A further commaication will be made regarding
the proposed People's Park at Kowloon.
