I have the honour to forward herewith copy
of a Report by Mr. H. E. Sly, Consular Assistant at
this Port, on the trial and execution of Kuan Kuei
Hung and L A Ch'ang, two extradited criminals from
Hongkong.
Your Lordship will observe from this Report
that the procedure agreed upon for all such cases, as
a result of the trial of the "Perseverance" pirates,
has been loyally adhered to by the Chinese Authori -
ties.
A copy of Mr. Sly's Report has been sent to
His Majesty's Minister and to the Officer Admi ni ster-
ing the Goverment in Hongkong.
