letter of the 26th ultimo transmitting a despatch
from the Officer administering the Government of
Hongkong relative to the desire of the Viceroy of
Canton to purchase age in Hongkong.
I am directed by His Lordship to refer you to
the terms of my letter of the 30th of October 1900,
