Gentlemen,
The Secretary of State for the Colonies having pointed out that it seems to be more satisfactory if the value of the Savings Bank investments was calculated at market prices, I am directed by the Governor to request you kindly to furnish on the 31st December of each year the market prices of the various stocks in which the Savings Bank funds are invested.
