Report on Ordinance 40 of 1902.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance to amend The Widows and Orphans' Pension
Fund Amendment Ordinance, 1902 (No.12 of 1902),
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions.
The amendment to be effected by this Ordinance is
rendered necessery by the decision to adopt a monthly in-
-stead of a yearly rate of exchange for the payment of
salaries fixed in sterling.
